User Guide

Step 1: Uninstall any existing anti-virus software
Click on 'Start'
Click on 'Control Panel'
Click on 'Add / Remove Programs'
Select the anti-virus software installed on your computer
Click on the 'Remove' button
Follow the step-by-step instructions of the wizard
Please restart your computer once you have finished
Step 2: Install KAV 2009
Click on the 'Download Software' button below. Please remember to disable your pop-up blocker before you click on 'Download Software'
In the download dialog box that appears, click on 'Run'
Follow the step-by-step instructions of the set-up wizard
Step 3: Activate KAV 2009
Once you have installed the software, the set-up wizard will prompt you to activate your subscription
Select the option 'Active using the activation code' and click on 'Next'
In the next screen, key in your activation code and click on 'Next'
Kaspersky will establish a connection with its activation server and request you to register a few details like your Email ID, the country and city of your residence. Key in these details and click on 'Next'
You will then see a confirmation message - 'License key successfully installed'
Please restart your computer once you have finished
